Olive

For this project, I was tasked to create an app that would help users track their overall healthcare.

Olive - Starting Out

The problem: Individuals need a pain-free way to organize and share their medical information so that they feel empowered to make healthy and informed decisions to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The goal: To make an easy-to-use, all-in-one app that incorporates many aspects of healthcare tracking.

02

Research

The first step in my design process was to conduct user research - what do potential users want and need in a healthcare app?

I also conducted a competitor analysis to help determine what users might expect from my app, which competitors are doing a good job at solving user problems (and which aren’t), and opportunities to meet unfulfilled user need.

I completed remote and in-person interviews that addressed users wants, needs, and current pain points.

Strategy

Guided by the wants and needs of these personas, I was able to create an actionable mobile strategy. To start, I completed a card-sorting task, developed some initial user flows, and then finalized my sitemap.

LowFi Prototypes

I created rough sketches to help form ideas quickly, and made multiple iterations as I went.

Final Product

Following further product refinement and incorporating peer feedback, I ended up with my current design.
